I used the trial version of Photoshop Elements to color yesterday's comic, which makes it today's comic. Elements has most of the things I use in regular PS, minus the useful and convenient stuff like scripts and channels and assignable shortcut keys.
I think today's image might be too dark. Another thing Elements lacks is a good way to calibrate my monitor to show the actual colors I'm using. Maybe I'm just ignorant there.
I love coloring, but I'm out of practice. I wasn't great at it before, but I feel I could've done better with this one; however, my focus is to try to get things done faster, and do more of them, and see if I get better while I also get faster, rather than spending so much time nit-picking the details. Even though I spent too much time nit-picking the details today, the coloring still doesn't look quite right. I still have a lot to learn. Hopefully sometime soon I'll be able to work more effectively and efficiently.
I'm feeling fairly enthusiastic about my new web page design, though: it takes so few minutes to update the page as it is now. That's nice.
